I would like to make one of these.ok i want this or i want to make it 0_0
Want ALL the jackets!

No, seriously. HOW do I get these colours. It’s like ultimate Gen 1 MLP hair.

I highly encourage the dressing of men like manga villains.
Designer?
Actually now that I think about it, I want to know who modelled it too. Look at those angles! UNF.

I kind of like it, even if it is a McQueen Horn of Plenty knock off.

SANDWICH ART BY BRITTANY POWELL
Fun connoisseur of modern art, Brittany Powell, of Low Commitment-Projects (“making stuff happen with little time and energy”) has achieved the perfect trifecta: art, comedy, and food. She’s made some awesome sandwich tributes to some art legends such as Damien Hirst, Piet Mondrian, Jaspher Johns, and others. How great is this?!
Morning made.

The ruins of Detroit, Michigan — Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre document what remains of a once-great city
I want to frolic in these ruins so damn much.

“L’été 86” - L’Officiel #718 1985
LOVE it. Wonder who shot it… Those BLUES!
Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Exit Music For a Film
Choral cover of the Radiohead song
I’m a sucker for choirs and strong operatic voices, and I love Radiohead - so this is pretty good.

BLACK MARCH
Thursday, March 1st 2012 to Saturday 31st March 2012With the continuing campaigns for Internet-censoring litigation such as SOPA and PIPA, and the closure of sites such as Megaupload under allegations of ‘piracy’ and ‘conspiracy’ the time has come to take a stand against music, film and media companies’ lobbyists.
The only way is to hit them where it truly hurts.
Their profit margins.March 2012 is the end of the 1st quarter in economic reports worldwide.
Do not buy a single record. Do not download a single song, legally or illegally. Do not go to see a single film in cinemas, or download a copy, Do not buy a DVD in the stores. Do not buy a videogame. Do not buy a single book or magazine.
Wait the 4 weeks to buy them in April: see the film later, etc. Holding out for just 4 weeks, maximum, will leave a gaping hole in media and entertainment companies’ profits for the 1st quarter, an economic hit which will in turn be observed by governments worldwide as stocks and shares will blip from a large enough loss of incomes.
This action can give a statement of intent:”We will not tolerate the Media Industries’ lobbying for legistation which will censor the internet.”
I’m not an educated or political person. My friends know this about me. I don’t have strong opinions about this sort of thing.
I feel that this is a much better way to protest than blacking out your tumblr for a day.
I am in favour of this.
I can do this. Sounds much better than blacking out my blog that no one goes to.
This will probably have a stronger impact than anything else I can do.
Or, rather, not do.
I wonder how many people will do this and if it will work.
Tempted, quite tempted. Very damn curious.

Tim.
Reblogging with credits.
Tim Minchin painted by Sam Leach
Winner of the 2010 Archibald Prize
I was lucky enough to see this and the rest of the entries in the flesh, a day or two after it won. You wouldn’t believe it from this picture, but it’s surprisingly small in real life. But beautifully done none the less.
And of course Tim is a legend, and a sweetheart.

Kate Moss for Alexander McQueen
“Only Alexander McQueen could provide the astonishing feat of techno-magic that ended his show. Inside an empty glass pyramid, a mysterious puff of white smoke appeared from nowhere and spun in midair, slowly resolving itself into the moving, twisting shape of a woman enveloped in the billowing folds of a white dress. It was Kate Moss, her blonde hair and pale arms trailing in a dream-like apparition of fragility and beauty that danced for a few seconds, then shrank and dematerialized into the ether.
This vision was in fact a state-of-the-art hologram—a piece by the video maker Baillie Walsh, art-directed by McQueen. The gown, a pale cascade of multiple organza ruffles, wasn’t just an optical effect, though. It subsequently reappeared in the collection’s victory line up, which wound its way around the glass box as the audience was still reverberating with wonder at witnessing this incredible event.”
I know I’ve reblogged something like this before, but I was watching Schindler’s List the other night, and the song used towards the end of the film is the same song that was playing in the background of this rather amazing event, so I’ve had it in my head for the last few days.
If you haven’t seen the video of the full thing, click here.

The only reason - ONLY REASON - I am reblogging this is because behind her and her bloody cam-whoring is a Patrick Nagel, possibly original.
Katy fucking Perry owns a Patrick Nagel? GODDAMN IT WOMAN, MOVE.
LET ME LOOK AT IT!

Thierry Mugler for Playboy December 1999
Now that’s my kind of Playboy.
Wonder who shot it…
